Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 15, 2026

Welcome to M.R.S. Strategic Health Advisory. By completing checkout and acknowledging the disclaimer, you (the “Client”) enter into a binding legal agreement with MRS Strategic Health Advisory (“the Practice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

This agreement is formed at the moment of payment; browsing our website does not bind you to these terms. We may amend these terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new effective date. All bookings are governed by the Terms in effect at the time of your checkout. Continued use of our booking portal for future sessions constitutes acceptance of the current terms.

2. Description of Services

The Practice provides strategic health advisory sessions, educational resources, and wellness roadmaps.
  • Strategic Advisory, Not Clinical Care: Dr. Margo R. Smith, MD, acts as a Strategic Advisor. No physician-patient relationship is formed. Our services are strictly educational and strategic.
  • Exclusions: We do not provide medical diagnoses, clinical treatments, prescriptions, or clinical care. This service is not a substitute for professional medical care.
  • Formats: consultation and strategy sessions are conducted via Google Meet, FaceTime, or phone.

3. Practice Commitments

  • We commit to no recurring subscriptions, no sale of supplements, no advertisements, and no tracking cookies.
  • We do not collect or sell personal data for marketing purposes.

4. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

5. The No-Account Model & Clearance

  • Transient Access: We do not use persistent user accounts. You are identified solely by a unique Payment Reference generated at checkout, which you must retain. Your Payment Reference is permanent — it does not expire and is retained for dispute resolution even after your personal data is purged.
  • Booking Codes: Your booking code carries a 30-day scheduling window. During your consultation session, if you chose to go-forward, your booking code is reactivated for a fresh 30-day window to schedule your strategy session. Once you book a session, the window is anchored to your scheduled session date. After you complete a strategy session, your booking code is reactivated for a fresh 30-day window so you can book a follow-up without a new consultation. If you cancel your session, your booking code expires immediately. If your advisor cancels the session, your booking code is preserved with a fresh 30-day window so you can rebook. If no action is taken, the booking code naturally lapses at the end of its 30-day window. After a cancel-driven expiry, contact our office to request a new booking code.
  • Data Purge: Because we do not maintain persistent client records, if you lose your Payment Reference, our ability to assist you is extremely limited.

6. Booking & Scheduling

  • Mandatory Consultation: All new clients must complete a 10-Minute consultation session before booking strategy sessions. Consultation sessions require a $50.00 non-refundable fee. When clients book a strategy session the $50.00 fee is fully applied toward the strategy session fee.
  • Accuracy: You are responsible for selecting the correct date, time, and time zone. Availability is subject to advisor schedule changes.

7. Payment Terms

  • Pricing: All prices are in USD and displayed on our Services page. Prices may change for future bookings without notice.
  • Deposits & Fees: A $50.00 non-refundable consultation session fee is required to secure a consultation session, which is fully applied toward the strategy session fee. Strategy session fees are flat-rate and paid in full at checkout via Stripe.
  • Authorization: By paying, you authorize the charge and confirm your card is authorized for use.

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • strategy sessions: Your consultation fee (if previously paid) was applied as a non-refundable credit toward this session. If you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled start, a full refund of the remaining balance is issued to your original payment method. Within 24 hours of the start, or if you no-show, the fee is forfeited as a dedicated-time fee and a new booking is required. The consultation fee credit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • consultation sessions: A $50.00 non-refundable consultation fee is required to secure a consultation session, which is fully applied toward the strategy session fee. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 24 hours before the consultation session remain eligible for rescheduling. Cancellations or requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session, or failure to attend without notice, forfeit the consultation fee and do not qualify for rescheduling.
  • Method: All changes must be processed via the support portal using your Payment Reference.

9. No-Show Policy

Failure to join your session within 15 minutes of your scheduled start time constitutes a no-show. consultation session and strategy session no-shows forfeit the fee. A new checkout is required to re-book.

10. Refund Policy

  • Refundable: Timely cancellations, provider-initiated cancellations, and slot double-booking collisions.
  • Review Threshold: Refunds exceeding our auto-refund limit are subject to manual review and may require additional processing time; you will be notified if your refund is held for review.
  • Process: Refunds are issued via Stripe within 5–10 business days. Fees are non-refundable for late cancellations, no-shows, or session terminations due to boundary violations.

11. Session Conduct & Boundaries

  • Scope: Requests for medical diagnoses, treatment, or prescriptions will result in immediate session termination.
  • Conduct: Professional conduct is required. Harassment or abuse will result in termination and permanent revocation of access.
  • Recording: Recording of sessions by either party is strictly prohibited without express written consent.
  • Confidentiality: We hold your session content in confidence, subject to legal limitations.

12. Educational Content & Disclaimers

Educational content is for informational purposes only. It is not clinical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical care. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that content is exhaustive or current.

13. Privacy & Data Handling

  • 30-Day Purge: Personal information (name, phone, email) is permanently deleted 30 days post-session.
  • Retention: Your Payment Reference is retained for dispute resolution and financial reconciliation; all other personal data is purged. We also retain anonymized analytics.
  • Security: We do not integrate with Electronic Health Records (EHR).

14. Communication

  • Transactional: You will receive confirmation and reminder emails regardless of marketing preferences.
  • SMS: You may opt out of SMS reminders by replying STOP. Carrier message and data rates may apply.

15. Intellectual Property & Indemnification

  • Content: All site content is the property of MRS Strategic Health Advisory. Unauthorized copying or scraping is prohibited.
  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Practice against any claims arising from your misuse of the service, breach of these Terms, or session boundary violations.

16. Limitation of Liability & Warranty

  • Warranty: Services are provided “as is.” We make no warranties regarding specific health outcomes or service uptime.
  • Liability Cap: Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific session in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

17. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party providers (Stripe, Google, Apple, Twilio, Resend). We are not responsible for the outages or policy changes of these third parties.

18. General Provisions

  • Boilerplate: Includes Severability (remaining terms stay in effect), Entire Agreement (these Terms together with the Privacy Policy), No Waiver (enforcement isn’t a waiver), Assignment (not assignable by you), Force Majeure, and Electronic Consent.
  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State to be configured]. Any disputes shall be resolved through [Arbitration or Litigation to be configured] in [City/County, State to be configured].

19. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke access, refuse bookings, or terminate sessions for fraud, abuse, or boundary violations. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

Dr. Smith is a physician operating strictly in an educational and strategic advisory role. She does not diagnose or treat. She maintains a hard operational firewall between strategic consulting and medical advice. Sessions are not recorded, and Dr. Smith does not generate written transcripts or clinical notes.

This platform does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or permanent user accounts. Your client information is automatically deleted from our servers 30 days after your session. Your Payment Reference is the only record that survives this data purge — please retain it for any payment or refund questions after your session. All content is for informational and educational purposes only and is not medical advice.
